Ang pag sisimula, sino kaya ang maguuwi sa korona

          Binigyan ng napakainit na salabungin ang mga kandidato mula sa ibat-ibang mga paaralan sa Talisay 1, 2 at 3, ito rin ang unang kilos ng ACT sa pagsali sa laban na ito. Pinapakita nila kung ano talaga ang Asianista na kaya pala nila ipakita ang kanilang ibat-ibang talento, at dahil diyan, hindi tumitigil ang kanilang paggalaw sa mga paa nila na sumasabay sa togtog ng musika sa pagsasayaw ng samba, rumba, jive at chacha.

          Unang pagsubok palang ito sa mga Asianista's Dance Sporters at silang lahat ay kabilang sa Division Meet; Dance Sport 2019.

          Happiness happens often since you feel happiness just by laughing even though your wearing a mask, its temporary. Happiness and Joy are two different things. We ask for happiness yet we strive for joy. For me, happiness is something all of us asked for. Its a piece in the puzzle of life and its the reason why we stayed here, living and breathing. Pushing us to wake up everyday, planned our day and moving forward since we look forward to feel the good stuff in life which is happiness.

          To find comfort in silence. I don't find comfort in silence because I fantasize about unnecessary things. Through silence I find myself because through silence I can think straight, I can focus. I wanted to find comfort through silence and feel like warmth surrounds me every time I'm in a hole. Comfort isn't the only thing I want to experience its "peace there may be in silence". Silence kills me since I'm an over-thinker. I believe overthinking kills your happiness, kills your joy and I don't want that. Peace and overthinking doesn't doesn't' match and its dominant to each other. Two sides has its own capabilities its between positive and negative but all of us is overpowered by the negative side.

          Desiderata is a wonderful and expressive poem. The poem is like a form of story yet written in a unique way. It helps me to see the brighter side of life, the positivism and the light. It can resolve my personal struggle if I intended or want to follow the poem but the poem talks about it in a general way that if you do this and that you could be fulfilling.

          There is a chance to grow, a chance to fall and a chance to do whats right. Problems are normal and we can be inspired through small things. We can be shot by words of wisdom, poems, books and even by small talks. Any problems and fixed if you have the guts to face it and through baby steps. You can fix and build a good future.

Reflection:Pakistan Earthquake Preparedness Plan

     The world is divided into seismic zones based on the tectonic plates. Earthquakes are the evident shaking of the surface of the Earth. If we look into a map of the world’s earthquakes, it shows that most of them lie in narrow zones, often around the edges of the continents, or in the middle of the oceans. A good example of this is Pakistan or officially known as Islamic Republic of Pakistan, a populous multiethnic country in South Asia. It is geologically located in the Indus-Tsangpo Suture Zone, which is roughly 200 km north of the Himalaya Front and is defined by an exposed ophiolite chain along its southern margin. Pakistan’s most remembered earthquake they’ve experienced is the Kashmir Earthquake that happened last October 8, 2005 that has claimed over 730,000 lives, affected over 2.5 million people and damaging over millions of infrastructures. It is imperative that buildings in Pakistan should withstand the seismic hazard to which they are exposed. However, most of the building structures of Pakistan are brick masonry with 62.38% of the people uses this kind of structure which is not earthquake resistant. In line with that, they created a Building Codes of Pakistan (BCP) to further improve the resistance of the structures in Pakistan. 

     Aside from the BCP, they implemented National Disaster Risks Authority. This organization collaborated with several organizations such as UNDP’s Bureau for Crisis Prevention and Recovery (BCPR). One of the programs they have launched is the Earthquake Risk Reduction and Recovery Preparedness Programme to conduct Earthquake Risk Assessment to raise awareness and part of their action plan is to organize awareness in media, workshops/seminars, to apply the disaster curricula in school education to give information to formal and non-formal education system

Damage brought by the Kashmir Earthquake

     Based on what we have researched, they weren’t able to strictly maintain the ordinance and importance of their Building Codes of Pakistan since the most of Pakistanis use structures that aren’t earthquake resistant. Although the materials used for those structures are accessible which is beneficial to the people, it isn’t right not to follow the rules. But the good thing of the emergency plan of the Pakistan is that they ensure the safety of their people by educating them of what could happen during an earthquake.

     Preparedness for this major natural disaster is a necessity since this is something beyond our control and what we could do is to lessen the casualties and/or the negative consequences it brings. There are action plans that should be strictly implemented most especially the seminars and drills since these are the basics to know what the people of Pakistan must do when earthquakes happen or what they must prepare before this natural disaster strike.

     Just like Pakistan, Philippines also have its own organization that gives information about earthquakes, National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) for Philippines and National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) for Pakistan. These organizations give out seminars and lessons on what their citizens must do whenever there is an earthquake. The difference is that the Philippines has more detailed emergency plan because in their emergency, it was stated on what equipment they should prepare before the earthquake happens and the ‘duck, cover and hold.’ Another difference between them is their building structure. As mentioned earlier, most people in Pakistan uses the brick masonry, where this kind of structure is not stable and lacks the ductility that buildings should have in order to withstand earthquakes or in simple terms, they cannot flex without breaking. Most of the building structures in Philippines uses RC building, this type of building consists of a frame or skeleton of concrete.  Horizontal members of this frame are called beams, and vertical members are called columns. Of these, the column is the most important, as it is the primary load-carrying element of the building. If you damage a beam or slab in a building, this will affect only one floor, but damage to a column could bring down the entire building.

      Pakistan’s emergency plan is much more centered around providing aid and risk assessment, this is due to their country not being an archipelago unlike the Philippines. The Philippines Emergency Plan and Earthquake Preparedness is much more centered around the damage reduction and reducing the loss of life in affected in areas. Philippines geology and being an archipelago makes it difficult to provide relief and help thus affected areas have to rely on the local government not on the national government.

     Due to Pakistan’s location, it is very prone to earthquakes and it’s no doubt that their government has prepared precautions and emergency plans to prevent themselves from being crushed from nature’s wrath. Overall, Pakistan is not totally ready for earthquakes. With their poor building structure and lack of emergency plan, although it is an advantage for them that they are not an archipelago not unlike the Philippines. Pakistan is likely to suffer great effects when there is an earthquake. However, this is not guaranteed to actually happen since it depends on the magnitude and the intensity of the earthquake that is to happen. Improvement and further development of the country’s safety is never too late. It is still early to make changes. Lack of preparation and knowledge can cause chaos than to be ignorant, it is rather better to be prepared and safe than to be not because a person who is not ready at all times or are ignorant to what is happening to the country is more likely to experience negative effect.

                   From the lyrics "If you love someone and your not afraid to lose them, you probably never love someone like I do" Romeo loves Juliet so dearly that he would do everything just to see Juliet even though its against or bad. Romeo doesn't want to see Juliet with someone else, Juliet doesn't want to be with someone else. Both of them did everything to see each other until they killed each other because they don't want to live if they wouldn't be together.

                  This song is from the Movie "The Greatest showman". From this songs, it talks about your deep love with your partner and staying at they're side no matter how far you both walk in your paths and even though both of you are separated at times, your love is still growing each day. By the line "Hand in my hand and we promised to never let go, we're walking the tightrope. High in the sky we can see the whole world from below, walking the tightrope with you". Even though how hard the circumstances both Romeo and Juliet is facing they still manage to love each other deeply and to hold each others arms until the day they both wish they could be together at once. "You pulled me in and together we're lost in a dream, always in motion. So I risk it all just to be with you. And I risk it all for the life we choose". For me or in my case, Romeo and Juliet would sacrifice everything just for them to live the life they wanted. They are willing to risk it all so they could build they're own story someday yet that story didn't come to a great end.

                 A lot of people are going to use this song since this song can really relate to Romeo and Juliet since the song that Taylor Swift made is a relatable song to Romeo and Juliet. Starting off with the line "That you were Romeo, you were throwing pebbles and my daddy said, "Stay away from Juliet" And I was crying on the staircase begging you, please don't go. And I said "Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone I'll be waiting all that's left to do is run. You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess. Its a love story, baby just say yes"  It is pretty obvious that this song can really relate to Romeo and Juliet, its when Romeo is like forbidden to be with Juliet because of Juliet's Father yet Juliet loves Romeo so much thats why she find ways to see Romeo' face and to be with him.

                  Some may say this song isnt that deep but theres a line in this song that could relate to Romeo and Juliet which is "I wanna hold you when I'm not suppose to, when I'm going close to someone else your stuck in my head and I cant get you out of it. If I could do it all again, I know I'd go back to you". Juliet is not suppose to like Romeo because of her Father yet she chooses her heart over rules and stood by her own will. Even though Juliet is going to get married by another man because she was forced to, Romeo will be in her heart and will always be running inside her head. The problem with that line is that Juliet can't go back to Romeo because they weren't a couple and they are not suppose to be together.

                  One line of the song hit the mark which is "Everything that you've ever dreamed of. Disappearing when you wake up, but theres nothing to be afraid of even when the night changes. It will never change me and you" Even though how sadly Romeo and Juliet died in the last part, they died by choice which is killing themselves for the sake of the love both of them give. No matter how huge they're dram of building a life together, life wont go the way you wanted so its a mutual understanding of falling down, gaining and achieving. Romeo and Juliet has a bad ending yet it showcased how powerful love could be even though how a night could change everything they wanted. Even though faith didn't bring them together, they died by choice and they're willingness.

                      This is a worship song, it talkes about our Almighty Father from above. Yet, a line in this song which is the starting verse of the song could relate to Romeo and Juliet which is "Can't go back to the beginning. Can't control what tomorrow will bring. But I know here in the middle is the place where you promise to be". Romeo and Juliet isn't destined  for each other since they didn't became a couple yet Juliet refuses to be with the Mourning Paris and wanted to marry Romeo yet a priest let Juliet drink something that would let her look she's dead. By that wrong move, Romeo, Juliet and the Fiance of Juliet died.

                          Showing how deep your love for your partner is one way of getting you bond a little stronger, Romeo and Juliet don't need to show their love for one another since they trust each other that much. "I'll be taking my time, spending my life. Falling deeper in love with you" Juliet didn't want to get married by a douche so she refuses to get married by that random guy that her Father shipped them together. Juliet wants Romeo, they wanted to get married yet they're relationship and bond is like a roller coaster that doesn't have any wheels. Its like a running merathon while people are just walking. They're love is unexpected, weird, strong and powerful. No matter what the walls both of them are separated from, they work together and break all of the barriers down because no matter what happens, no one can defeat they're love.

                              From the title itself you are my everything it is obvious that it could relate to Romeo and Juliet. From the line "When I see stars, I think of you. Then I alwyas pray for you. And I know what my heart wad made for to love you, forever more. Romeo and Juliet was made for each other but didn't have a chance to reach they're forever more. In fact, Romeo and Juliet has a rough story and a pretty sad ending yet Juliet would rather die than to marry a guy she didn't love and Romeo would die for Juliet. Both of them didn't sacrifice they're own life for one another yet built another life for each other. Juliet never wanted the life she wanted since she can't be with the live of her life, Romeo didn't like or love his life since he was forbidden to marry Juliet but if so he could have gotten the chance to marry Juliet he wouldn't have the blessing of Juliet's Father. In short by that line, Romeo keeps on thinking about Juliet and Juliet the other way around. Since both of them love each other and they couldn't be together the only think they could do is to think about one another. The only thing that makes them stronger everyday is they're trust and for following they're heart no matter what.

    

                  Romeo and Juliet is a story about two humans being super in love that they would break everything to make it work and would die for one another. Nothings stronger than a love worth dying for.

Family

                              Family. Where do we start? We all know that there is that special day that we would bring our parents to school to celebrate Family Day. Family is the tree of life, it's the harvest of every children. To look up and to see that person and say "Hey that woman is my mom, I wont be standing here if she didn't put tears and sweat to raise me all there years." Family is created so that you wont be raising life alone, so someone could guide you and protect you.  You should feel proud if someone you love would be there for you in hardships and in dull clouds.

Through my life I have never spotted or seen myself growing up alone. I have never gesture a moment and to think that I want them to just go away. I have never seen something so powerful that I just want it alone. Life changes you in different matters and this life changed when I got my family. 

I know some people didn't grow up with a mother or a father or both. Those people did not have the chance to see someone that gave them life. Family does't have to be you, your father and your mother, it could just be you and your mom or you and you dad. Life is really complicated and you should know how to value something that isn't worth any possible thing on earth. Time is limitless, use it wisely and learn how to value your parents since life is full of plot twist and you don't know when life would hit you. To the people who didn't have the chance to see their parents, never lose hope to reach your dreams. Family can be composed of any of your family relatives or you can have a second family which would never leave you called friends.

We all know that friends can be called family right? Although not all people got a chance to see bunch of other people and getting close with them, well I have. The time you would see people which you called family is when they would dodge a bullet for you. This other family of mine is a keeper, these people will change your life for the better. They would be there cheering for your success, joking when your'e sad and would paint your world for you. These people are like you sisters and brothers from another mother yet life puts you all together like pixie dust. Never would I have pictured myself to be in this family since all the friends I have been with were not so good to tell. I called these people my family because when I fell in the bottomless pit of life, I have never felt so alive when they strive and picked me up. You will realize when friends are family when they accept you for you, when they wont back stab you and would not be insecure for your success and all. This Family is not worth a change and not worth for anything at all.

                              Above friends is always your family. Nothing can defeat the love of your family because its priceless. Everything they have done for you is priceless. This day, January 27 was not a super special day for me or my father because of some circumstances yet even though that day wasn't that much good, we would never forget that day since its Family Day and a family's love is never dying. No matter what circumstances you would pass, whatever problems or situations you would have with you family. Love is always there, love will always be above every anger of a family member. Sometimes, we all know that a family is just a joke, others say its just a saying that you should love them for the sake of them raising you well thats a flop. You should never lose your families love even though what they might have done for you since you would never pay the life they have given to you and to everything they have passed just to get you. 

 

                              I belong to a complete family and yes, sometimes it gets complicated and no, I would never trade them for some other family. Nothing is complete, so is this family. 

This photo was from last years Family Day, as you can see my mom is in the picture and the recent photo she's not there. She's not there because she went to her home town to celebrate my Grand Fathers Birthday. What I am trying to say is, even though she wasn't there on the celebration, I can still feel her presence in the event. The whole point of the Family Day experience or event wasn't about getting broke because of a lot of payments or getting forced to perform but were there because we are blessed to have a family. We are given a chance to spend a day with your family, to showcase activities and performances and to show them that you have grown up. Not everyone is blessed to have a family so enjoy while you can, remember that life has a limited offer.We all know the circle of life, it's hard and harsh so spend time with your love ones!
                                    There's no eternity, be with your family.

Cyber Bullying

          Cyber Bullying is accusing someone by what they do, discriminate their physical appearance and judging a person by a single rumor. Yes, everyone has experienced this, not in a type of bullying that includes punching but expressing them freely and expecting it would be a joke. Some may say, this just a joke or this is just to make everyone laugh but its actually one way of killing someone, it roots someones anger towards you since you discriminated that person, judging them even though you're not perfect yourself. This is one of the issues in school, many times has a teacher stopped student from bullying other student but they intended to do those since they think they are higher than others. Cyber Bullying affects good people, cyber bullying should be stopped. This problem adds up to the problems of a person who has been locked with negativity. This is getting worse, people think that if they judge the person they're judgement would be fine with that, deep inside they're not. Everyone is not perfect there fore there's no need to bully someone who didn't do anything; If you want to bully them, it's better if you open up to each other, don't back stab it's just rude. Bullying occurs in the ages between 12 and 17, we explore the relationship between resilient and experience with bullying and cyber bullying (PubMed.gov). Life is filled with situations that we can't handle and its problem. There are a lot of reasons how to stop cyber bullying since this adds problems and it hurts a persons life since they try and change themselves so they would be better for others. Just like students trying to fit in their school called their second home.

        Cyber Bullying makes children quit school. As what I said, cyber bullying happens in school since it mostly occur in the age of 12 and 17 (PubMed.gov). School has become a battle ground for kids to test they're learning and skills. You will see who are weak in this subject and high in this section. Grading systems makes children horrified since laziness takes over a students body. What you do in school, a person is always watching. For example girls. Girls are sources of issues, problems and deepest secrets. Some may say girls are open yet truth is, girls have non stop gossip. Girls are in a group, they back stab other girls or other persons. When someone is going to tell this person that this group is gossiping about her or him then they're going to be offended since they are talking behind their back. Boys. Boys are also sources of physical hurting like punching someone. All of those leads to cyber bullying since this is going to be an issue and it would be a spread rumor in school. In every single thing you do, you get judged by a person, make fun of and being mocked. All of those issues, deepest secrets, problems is going to be spilled like tea. The issues of this is that people trust people who are not trust worthy. Therefore, gossip and any other meas leads to bullying. 

          Cyber bullying leads to depression (VeryWellFamily by Sherri Gordon Forman, MD). For the person who are experiencing bullying, they try so hard to change. Like when you're fat, you should be skinny so that this huge society would accept you. Just like the children in England and Wales that got bullied because of they're appearance, most bullying focuses on weight and body shape and has a major impact on victims. More than half (53%) of young people who experienced bullying based on their appearance said they had become anxious as a result and 29% had become depressed. One in 10 said they had had suicidal thoughts and 9% that they had self-harmed (SupportTheGuardian by Haroon Siddique). Society this is the reason why people are experiencing depression since they don't know how to accept you, they dont get the point your like this and not like that. The reason why it leads to depression its because of misjudgment. The  people you bully think they're not good enough, thinks they are useless. This is a free world, you have the freedom to think, say your opinion and to become what you wanna be. But that doesn't mean you would discriminate someones physical appearance. You  should learn how to accept who they are (Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

         Cyber Bullying leads to depression (Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia). Whats the use of living is the people around you will not accept you? This is a huge place, people can do what they wanna do to you. Pushed and stopped by people because they are kings and queens as what they said and thought they were. Cyber bullying makes children quit school which leads to depression, all of that could lead to suicide. This thing affects someone so bad that they would overthink through this problem. All of us has a problem and your adding more to those people who did nothing to you.  Yes, bullying leads to suicide (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_suicides_that_have_been_attributed_to_bullying). This people commit suicide because of posting pictures that ruined them, calling them bisexual and other stuff. Some may say this is not a serious thing but actually it is. Those words they said adds a worm to the apple there fore its going to be rotten. The apple serves as our heart, every time someone discriminates us or a person that adds another label to yourself, you would think you are nothing, you are not existing. You would feel negative vibes, you would think you should give revenge but you would end up in a black hole.

          Cyber Bullying is not a joke. Think before you speak because you are also talking to a person, all of us are living individual. All of us isn't perfect so you dont have any rights to speak bad things to a person, judging a person is awful. Always think for other people because all of us should be treated correctly. Cyber bulling affects good people, it should be stopped, we should have equality.

Cats are better house pets than Dogs

              They say cats are better than dogs. Well, for a saying "A dog is a man's best friend", I agree with that statement. Cats and Dogs are not the same and both of them have different life style. Dogs are excellent house pets and doesn't make a lot of destruction but makes noise often. Dogs have greater potential, come in more shapes and sizes and can promote an active lifestyle.

              First of all, I disagree with the proportion. It is not because I don't like cats but its because dogs have a lot of positive sides better than cats. A dog accompanies you and will protect you from danger and strangers. Dogs don't need litter boxes. According to The Spruce, Cat lovers don't love the litter boxes. Even though you keep up with them, there's always a smell left behind. Its almost impossible to find a good place to put the litter box even if you have limited space or a small house. Scooping their stuff is stinky and gross. Well, dogs can be house trained and most dogs has a schedule on when they want to go out and do their business. Or they can stop by when you walk them in the park.

              Second, dogs are well known to be good pets. Easily taught simple manners and lessons. Dogs don't always bark as i am a dog owner. As what I have researched. According to Business Insider and the Spruce. Other dogs or which we call friendly dogs often bark and they only bark to their owners because of excitement, to strangers for protection and to other dogs in order for them to communicate. Dogs do have rabies and could bite anyone, but dogs have a check up or an appointment every month and gets injection to some body part so they can be strengthened, healed and wont get any sickness. Dogs can be your security unlike cats. According to the Spruce, dogs bark and could harass strangers or stealers in coming in the house. While cats do their thing, playing with yarns and climbing furniture is mostly what they do. Cats are also playful and responsible and they could take care of themselves but they can't make the house safe and secured when no one is around.

              Lastly, dogs can measure how responsible you are. They test you since dogs don,t groom themselves, don't walk themselves, and wont feed themselves without us. But, they can do that on their own if you teach them how to. Training is a must to all dogs in order for them to be responsible and don't make massive mess around the house since they have toys to play with. According to Pets World, Dogs don't scratch things and climb furniture's. In addition a dog can be responsible by itself alone. They can take care of themselves and can protect themselves and in fact, dogs don't climb on shelves so they cant make so much mess.
